I earned my Doctorate degree from Nova Southeastern University and received my master’s degree in social work from Barry University. I earned my bachelor’s degree in science from The Ohio State University. I am also a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and I have been the School Social Work representative for the Broward Chapter of Florida Social Workers. My areas of specialization include Bereavement/Grief work, Parenting/ Family therapy and Divorce Adjustment. I also work with Blended Families, Stepfamilies, Adjustment disorders, Anxiety, mood disorders and a variety of other problems experienced by adults, and the elderly population. I utilize a combination of traditional Psychotherapy, Solution-focused (brief) therapy, Family, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), along with experiential techniques that are enjoyable where the clients are active participants in their own treatment. I provide a safe, comfortable and non-threatening environment for those seeking help which enables them to open up and express their feelings, thoughts and emotions. I am an avid film fan, love all genres of music, enjoy playing and watching sports and on an occasion I enjoy playing video games. I look forward to being able to guide, direct and support you through this "Journey" so in the end you will be able to "Live Your Life to the Fullest".
